Mr. Chris Richter is a Sr. Consultant at Amalfi Consulting. Prior to joining Amalfi Consulting, he served as a consultant in Clark Consulting’s Compensation Group for five years.
Mr. Richter has designed, implemented, and advised on compensation programs in financial institutions, ranging from large commercial lenders to community banks. He provides client support on a number of compensation initiatives, including total compensation benchmarking, annual and long-term incentive plan design, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Richter also has expertise relative to compensation survey design, director compensation programs, and executive compensation proxy disclosures. In addition, he has experience in developing models to help evaluate incentive plan design alternatives that result in effective and efficient compensation programs.
Mr. Richter leads Amalfi Consulting’s comprehensive analysis of executive compensation trends in the financial institution industry, which serves as the basis for many of the firm’s data-driven plan designs and industry presentations.
He received his BA from Bethel University with majors in both finance and marketing. He is currently pursuing a Certified Compensation Professional designation.
