Mr. William A. Parsons joined Amalfi Consulting in 2007, bringing with him over 11 years of experience in employee compensation and benefits. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Parsons was a senior executive with a leading compensation and benefits survey company, where he directed the company’s worldwide compensation and benefits research programs. His research experience spans across all organizational functions, including specializations in the areas of executive and sales compensation.
As a senior consultant at Amalfi Consulting, Mr. Parsons works with banks to review executive compensation and to design and implement compensation programs that will attract, retain and reward key talent. He works with banks to evaluate current compensation practices and design programs that reflect the bank’s strategic objectives, pay philosophy and culture. Mr. Parsons advises clients on a wide range of compensation issues including salary and bonus, equity and long-term incentives, employment and change-in-control agreements, and director compensation. He also provides analytical and project management support for complex engagements.
Mr. Parsons has authored several articles on compensation and benefits issues for various industry publications and web sites. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. In addition, he completed advanced graduate studies in psychology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Parsons has also received his Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), and Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designations from World at Work.
