services-photoWHAT IS THE ORIGIN AND BACKGROUND OF AMALFI CONSULTING?

Over the past ten years, Amalfi Consulting, through its consultants, has been providing compensation consulting expertise to its clients. Through most of that time, the consulting services were provided under the name of the Compensation Group of Clark Consulting. On January 22, 2008 Amalfi Consulting, LLC was formed and acquired the intellectual capital and assets of the Compensation Group of Clark Consulting. All of the employees, products and services continue today under the name of Amalfi Consulting.


WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT AMALFI CONSULTING IS INDEPENDENT?

It simply means that Amalfi Consulting only provides consulting services to its clients. The three owners are themselves lead consultants for Amalfi Consulting working each day with its clients. Unlike most consulting firms, we are not owned by another entity. What it also means is that our clients can be comfortable in knowing that no products are sold through Amalfi Consulting. The associates at Amalfi Consulting do not receive any compensation, either directly or indirectly, with respect to any product sales; we are pure a fee-for-service business.


WHAT IS THE ORIGIN OF THE NAME "AMALFI CONSULTING?"

A key attribute for Amalfi Consulting, and our logo, is the maritime compass. The symbolism of the compass fits with our mission of helping clients navigate through their compensation issues. The individual who invented the maritime compass, Flavio Gioia, was from the town of Amalfi located on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. The Amalfi Coast lies approximately 24 miles southeast of Naples, Italy and is the home of the towns of Amalfi, Positano and Salerno, and off its coast lies the island of Capri.

HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL CONSULTING PROJECT TAKE?

Timeframes vary according to the scope and complexity of the project. However, we have a uniquely leveraged process that enables us to provide a faster turn-around time than the industry standard. In the majority of cases, our projects are completed within six to eight weeks of acceptance of our contract and receipt of data. We can also work with you to accommodate any special timeline requests.
