Mr. Matt Brei is a Vice President at Amalfi Consulting. Mr. Brei has worked for over nine years in executive compensation consulting, with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to community banks throughout the country.

Mr. Brei has been with Amalfi Consulting since it was founded, and previously worked in the Compensation Group of Clark Consulting and in the Human Capital practice of Arthur Andersen. As a Vice President, Mr. Brei performs various functions within his client engagements. He is integral in identifying the unique compensation needs and concerns for each of his clients. He assists clients with identifying their individual project scope and then develops a game-plan to address their concerns. Mr. Brei regularly presents the findings and recommendations from various compensation reviews to the board, compensation committee, or management.

His areas of expertise include: total compensation reviews for executives and management, annual incentive and equity incentive plan designs, employment, change-in-control, and other agreement or plan reviews, compensation philosophy development, proxy reporting assistance, and board of director compensation reviews.

Mr. Brei received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Accounting and Business Management from Luther College in Decorah, IA.
